FASTING TURMOILS – What is going to Happen after 31st Dec 2010?

Fasting (Deeksha)
has become a fashion for politicians now. They are using these tricks as political weapons. Mahathma Gandhi, Potti Sriramulu have used these to fight for the real cause and win over the enemies.
Gandhi has used it very repeatedly during Independence war, created awareness among the public. Similarly Potti Sriramulu has used it to get Andhra formation from Madras state by doing fast for 58 days continuously and finally sacrificed his life for its cause.
There was no great publicity (of course no great media channels like now) – those days for them, no violence associated with it, no exchange of war of words between groups. More than anything else they did not gain personally anything.
But now-a-days it has become fashion and politics in AP
KCR started last year on 30th Nov 2009 – created havoc in the state and system
· Violence erupted across Telangana – subsequently later in Andhra after 9th Dec
· Universities became like war zones.
· Student leaders thinking themselves as future politicians – became militants
· Innocent and poor academic students – lost their education.
· Emotional students committed suicide for the cause of these dirty politicians tricks.
· But everyone knows that KCR did real fasting hardly for 2 days and the rest of the 8 days he has lived on fluids nicely.
Recently Chandra Babu Naidu started this drama as if he is the champion of Farmers. His intentions are very clear
· He was picturised as anti-farmer successfully by YSR and Congress during 2004 elections. Thus he lost the power.
· He was branded as IT Savvy guy and opposition parties have used for their benefits
· To get eradicated this – he started this fast unto death to grant aid to the farmers.
· TDP has created havoc during this period and no one knows what for the fast, what is the end and is it really practical to get the ambition to be fulfilled
· But for TDP and Naidu – the political mileage is important than the common man woes.
Then comes the child Jagan, who has done fast for 2 days
· He wanted to show that he can also do fast
· Wants to get credit ahead of Naidu.
· He could do only 48 hours
· It is more of his demonstration of strength – which he got only 50%
· He expected at least 50 MLAs will come and lakhs of public will turn out.
· But hardly 20+ MLAs came and thousands only turned to his meeting.
· He does not know what are the woes of Farmers – if he is really concerned – why can not he start donating the money to them?
· He is doing Odarpu for the so-called families who suffered due to YSR’s death – why cannot he do the same for the Farmers by offering Rs 1 lakh? – If he is really concerned?
Now the biggest joke of Deeksha is by Telangana Congress MPs and MLAs
· They lost the image to the bottom most
· Being in power – there is no meaning doing fasting at Hyderabad – let them go to Delhi and do before Sonia’s house
· Knowing pretty well that no separate state is coming – they are doing this drama to save their face.
· Both the Telangana supporters and united AP supporters should first pelt stones against these cunning, unemployed politicians and should make them run-away.
· Politicians like Keshava Rao, Sarve, Madhu, Damodar are like tigers in Hyderabad and become Cats in Delhi.
· This drama being enacted by the support of Central and state leadership – needs just few minutes to be exposed.
Now that the 31st December deadline is coming and Srikrishna commission going to submit its report to Chidambaram.
· Very sure that state is not going to be splitted immediately.
· Not sure of any such recommendation either
· But both the regions are going to burn
· The politicians, student union leaders, employee unions are all eagerly waiting to make state burn, recede back, become like old Bihar or Chhattisgarh with Naxalites hitting everywhere and anytime.
· The innocent students will lose academic studies and year
· Industry will be impacted and no investments
· Common man will be suffered with no safety and security.
· With repeated Bandhs, Dharnas and Deekshasmiddle and poor class will suffer with economic depression.

Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Exit

Congress
successfully managed to get rid of Y S Jagan Mohan reddy. It was a fight going on between Congress High Command and Jagan for the last 1 year.
Jagan had got a golden chance to become CM after his father’s death in Aug’2009. 150 MLAs out of 156 of Congress have submitted a memorandum to high command. But Jagan could not manage that base and yielded the CM post to Rosiah.
Since then he was repenting for not getting that post. In a childish manner – he started spoiling his own gold future. Had he been co-operating with high command – he could have got key post in center at least and later he could have planned the CM’s accession.
It was very clear that Sonia and Rahul wanted to get rid of Jagan. While Sonia made both Jagan and Vijayamma to wait for a month to give appointment – that too after the death of YSR – she gave appointment to Chiranjeevi and Vivekananda (YSR’s younger brother) within 2 days notice. She wanted Chiru to be stand-by, Viveka to split YSR’s family. Definitely YSR’s Athma will cry foul against Sonia for spoiling his family.
The way forward for Jagan
· Keep quiet for some time
· Try to wean away as many MLAs as possible (at least 50+) to split Congress – but this big number is an uphill task for him.
· Try to split smaller party like PRP.
· Create confusion in Congress keeping his own men in Congress – but sabotaging Kiran Kumar daily.
· In all likelihood – he cannot become CM – but can spoil Congress, split PRP, help TDP.
· In Telangana – he may be irrelevant and may have chances in Andhra

3 CMs and 3 Scams– High time for Manmohan to Resign.

On 24th November we have seen 3 Great CMs of 3 great states in limelight and in news.
Nitish Kumar has been a big Hero among the 3.

His JD-U party along with BJP swept the Bihar assembly polls and won more than 80% of the seats – perhaps the biggest record.

AS usual all except BJP, all other political parties gave the credit to Nitish – as they are all envy of BJP. They congratulated Nitish and even went to the extent of criticizing BJP.

While it is evident that Nitish factor played more value to BJP, than BJP to Nitish – but this unprecedented Majority could not have been achieved without the both being united.

It is proved that the Kiddish Rahul cannot do any great magic in any state.

All the best for Nitish for 2nd term and hope he will not become head-strong and instead rule the Bihar state with more authority. If Bihar becomes a developed state – then it is not too far for UP also to come out of caste politics and develop under the true leadership.

2nd CM (of AP) – K Rosiah bowed out of the power as unable to rule AP efficiently. Unable to control separatists of Telangana, dissidence lead by Jagan, agitations … he has become retired hurt and paved the way to more Young leader Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy. KKR has tough path ahead in the form of 31st December deadline and need to see how he will manage. Hope he will ensure that United AP is intact

3rd CM (Of Karnataka) is Fevicol Yeddyurappa - who rebelled and threatened that he will spoil BJP in the state if asked to step down.

Frankly speaking – the BJP high command overreacted to JDS-Congress bad propaganda. It is but natural to show documents and try to defame BSY by Gowdas. The land grabbing by Gowda’s family, Dharam singh, S M Krishna is far above that of BSY.
Yes BSY deserves a tight control, need to be told to behave properly – but need not be shown the door as there is no such big and tall leader.

In all the instances Congress has been demoralized and showing clear panic for its future. The 2G Spectrum scandal worth of Rs 1, 74,000 croroes. How much DMK, Karunanidhi, Sonia, Rahul, Congress shared – god only knows. Another scandal worth of 1000s of croroes is CWG games. How much Kalmadi shared with Sonia and Congress? Adarsh is another shameful scandal.

Finally Dr Manmohan Singh has become the most integrity man sitting pretty on all scandals – but not taking a single pie from any of the scandals.

Integrity does not mean that not taking any single pie – but also ensuring that no one else also take bribes. Being a PM he should own moral responsibility and resign.

125 years of Congress

AICC recently elected Sonia Gandhi as their unanimous president and thus she has been the longest serving president beating her own prior dynasty rulers.
AS if someone / group chasing the session was closed within hours without giving any room / scope for dissidence – ofcourse one cannot expect any such incident knowing the congress leaders slavery culture.
But what the AICC session achieved?
· Once again the Nehru dynasty rule is proved that they are going to rule the nation for many more years ahead – as Rahul also played a key and pivotal role in the session (ofcourse by his absurd talk as usual).
· Sonia rather trying to focus on corruption which is hitting their party like anything – focused on RSS and tried to picturize it as anti-national.
· As per Sonia and her Bhajan sangh RSS is an anti-national as it fought and fighting against Italian Lady, Pakistani Terrorists and Internal Indian Terrorists in the name of modernization.
· Nehru Dynasty has become non-patriotic decade-by-decade – Nehru himself time and again demonstrated that he has the influence of the foreign nations like Russia and western countries be it for Good or Bad for the Nation. Then Indira has expanded that basis. Rajiv has become a more aggressive by marrying an Italian and brining a foreigner into PM’s house even when his mother was a PM.
· The whole Indians know how patriotic will be Sonia towards India.
· Now comes the kid Rahul – who is speaking absurd in all the tours
o He is visiting universities/colleges and giving speeches as expert – even Kalam hesitates to do that type of speeches. But Rahul giving political speeches is an objectionable one. Such universities and colleges should explain to the Nation – how are they encouraging such immature politician when the institutions are supposed to be above political matters
o He is criticizing politicians like Nitish etc who have demonstrated what is the Development means?
· As long as the Congress men continue the slavery nature – India cannot improve.
· The session was spend time to praise Sonia as Goddess.
· The session reiterated its ill feeling towards other parties and organizations by threatening that they will use CBI (Congress Bureau of Investigation) to avenge on them – but they will not do anything on their own corruption scandals.
o They will overlook CWG, Adarsh, 2G/3G scandals and reward them in deed.
o As long as the self interests of the family are achieved no issues and let the Nation go to hell is the motto of the mother and son’s attitude as they do not have any attachment to INDIA.

KARNATAKAM

The KARNATAKAM started in the end of the month of September still continuing with phased manner of Judgments and now ready to be demonstrated at Supreme Court.
The Operation Lotus which BJP has coined to gain majority has fired back itself. Yeddiyurappa unable to control the governance, with arrogance lead into the troubled waters
· Growing corruption day y day
· Taking some meaningless decisions without consulting all.
· Not fielding Widow in a bye-election and thus losing the seat to JDS
· Giving control to Reddy Brothers
The “Three Gowdas” – Deve, Kumara and Revanna who have spoiled everyone in Karnataka starting from R K Hegde, Bommai, Siddaramiah .. now targeting Yeddi. This is very clear from the day the BJP came into power. Devegowda is having sleepless nights as there is no power in his hands. He is a Phoenix bird (the bird which even if dies raises from ashes). He can spoil the entire state with a single decision. He guided his son Kumara to destabilize the BJP government and thus snatched 11 BJP + 5 Independent MLAs.
Congress shamelessly joined the hands with JDS – Siddaramiah wants to be CM at least for a day even with the support of Gowdas and thus along with R V deshpande (a dummy puppet), congress supported JDS.
Then comes the third great personality the Congress Governor H R Bharadwaj – who has shown special interest and tried his level best to dismiss the government.
Speaker supported openly BJP and disqualified 16 MLAs and thus saved the government.
Let us see how the sequence of drama then started
· On Oct 11th - Shamelessly the 16 MLAs behaved like Goondas in the assembly even though they are not supposed to enter the assembly
· Then another 18 MLAs JDS+Cong behaved like Rowdys and smashed the Vidhansoudha rooms and doors – do they have any respect to the public who voted them?
· Waiting like a Dog near the grass – Governor has recommended for President rule though BJP has proved the majority
· Governor went to the extent of saying he has shown mercy on Yeddy in the past when Reddy Bros revolted against him and did not ask for proving the majority.
· But that was a childish statement as Reddy Bros did not go to Governor saying they withdrew the support to Yeddy. They fought inside the party along with the high-command. Even the Governor is afraid of Reddys than Yeddy and hence supported Yeddy that time.
· Now he advised Yeddy to prove the majority again on 14th Oct in a generous way. It is a Guinneses record for Yeddy.
· He went to the extent of advising how to rule the state – Yeddy needs to know the governance from a person who defended thieves like Qutorchi and murderers
· On 14th Oct – Yeddy proved the majority again
· On 29th Oct – HC gave verdict supporting the speaker that the disqualification of 11 BJP MLAs is legal.
· The judgment of 5 Independent MLAs on 2nd Nov yet to be arrived – but anyhow it does not convert Yeddy into minority.
· Now of course all are moving to SC for next drama
The anti-defection law is incorporated to prevent defections and not to react to defections.
In the current case the 11 BJP MLAs shown clear cut indications that they are defecting.
If their anger is against yeddy – why did they go to Governor?
If their argument saying they are still in BJP – then rather going to Nitin – why did they go to JDS+Congress+Governor?
So their intention is clear.
If one has to wait they violating the Whip and then disqualifying them – Yeddy would have lost the power at that moment. Governor would have asked alternate government to be formed or president rule would have been imposed.
After their disqualification (since they violated Whip) – Yeddy would have recovered the majority – but by that time he would not have been as CM.
Hence Speaker correctly recognized the intention of MLAs and disqualified them.
Similarly 5 Independent MLAs should not have been associated with any party. They should have been disqualified when they are associated with BJP in the first phase itself – but none (even JDS or Cong) – raised this with speaker that time.
Now BJP raised this that they are colliding with JDS and wanted to disqualify them.
The following things are clearly emerged for the last one month
· Karnataka MLAs are the worst politicians and they can be sold for anything – even worse than Haryana/Bihar and thus brought very bad name to entire India.
· 3 Gowdas cannot stay without any power specially Devegowda
· Hamsa Raj Bharadwaj is a Kamsa Raj Bharadwaj and became Villain of the state
· Congress became a big anti-democratic party.
· BJP lost its credibility, morality and honesty and confirmed that he will not be in power for longer time and any time can lose the power.
· But what is the sanity of the speaker? This can be misutilized by any speaker and it will be very difficult to judge – unless otherwise mature Judges like in the current case come forward and give proper judgment.

India’s Good show at Commonwealth Games

CWG have been completed successfully on 14th which started on 3rd October with a big bang.
The opening ceremony was attracted the whole world and mesmerized them. None – for that matter – Indians – ourselves did not expect.
The pre-games concerns were
· Stadiums were not ready till last moment
· Security is a concern.
· Infrastructure of Delhi is not complete
· Residential villages are not ready
· Sanity is a big issue
· Too much crowd
· Corruption surfaced at many levels.
· CWG chairman was a critic of India at all levels and at all forums.
· Kalmadi was targeted and became a big joker across the nation within the congress itself.
But now the scenario on 14th October is as follows
· India and Indians can do it
· Superb Stadiums and residential facilities provided
· Great affection
· Safety and security ensured.
· Grand Gala celebrations of both opening and closing ceremony
· Stood at 2nd spot with 38 Gold medals the highest standing since CWG inception
Now what next?
· We spent 30,000 crores and Government would have hardly got 500 crores
· But the dragged revenue for Indian companies a lot in the form of revenues because of development of infra structure development, publicity, marketing
· Are we ready for Olympics – it is too early
· We will be able to host many such games – but it will be too much burden for a nation like us
· We can conduct profitable oriented games
But overall a Very Good Job done By India and Indians.
See you at Glasgow 2014

The TRIFURCATION of Ayodhya Disputed site

Finally the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High court has given its fractured verdict on the 60 year old much awaited case – to whom the Ayodhya/Babri Masjid site should belong.
The 3 Judges gave different versions and finally in summary
· All agreed that the core disputed site be given to Hindus
· 2 of them agreed that original temple was demolished by Babar, while the third say that the Masjid was built on the ruins of Temple – but by not demolishing.
· 2 of then agreed that it is the birth place of Ram as per the faith and belief.
· None wanted to accept the report the very much genuine ASI report
Justice Sharma the outgoing Judge whose last date is 1st Oct in service – has said that
· The Masjid was built against the norms and principles of Muslim by demolishing another religious shrine, having images of other religious Gods, not doing any Namaz for many years
· He firmly beliefs that the core place is the birth place of Ram
· The entire site be given to Rama Janmabhoomi trust
Justice Agrawal and Khan are of the opinion that since Sunni wakf board and Nimohi Akhara are involved in this case from day-one and are actively involved since 60 years – be given equal rights to the land.
Thus it became one third each to the 3 groups (giving resemblance to a Monkey sharing the Roti to cats equally and thus swallowing finally)
The Judgment may not be a surprise one – but more of a balancing act like politicians.
The judges wanted to be safe and did not want to be dragged into controversy. Not sure if they wanted to really solve or just to pass on the buck to next levels.
In any case let us see how each one have reacted conveniently to their advantage and politicians started to take sides.
· Hindu Mahasabha wants to go to SC for claiming the entire site
· Sunni wakf board also wants to go for the SC as they do not want to surrender the 2/3rd of their original land.

· Only Nimohi.. has not shown much disagreement as of now
· RSS welcomed – but silent on if they are OK for Masjid to be constructed adjacent to Ram temple (hints are they do not want).
· VHP – officially not yet given statement – but very clear through Mahasabha that they want to go to SC
· BJP welcomed like RSS – but do not want a Masjid adjacent to Temple.
· Congress
o Was not happy with the judgment as it has given edge to BJP – which stood and fought for Rama Janmabhoomi.
o That’s why before other parties said anything – the spokespersons, PM, HM .. all said that this is not final and to wait for SC. There is no need for them to give such nasty statements when they are not a party in the case.
o Chidamabaram – said that this case no way weakens Babri demolition case
§ This is also again an absurd statement. Not relevant at this time.
§ This is just to expose their pseudo-secularism stand and to woo Muslims
§ This Judgment definitely will have a bearing on Demolition case – as Pro-Hindu groups case has been vindicated
· Mulayam and Mayawathi are afraid of their current status and saying that the judgment is hurting Muslims – before even the other Muslim organizations are expressing their views.
· Communists as usual were caught unaware – what to comment.
· The TV channels – NDTV, CNN-IBN, TimesNow – are coming with a new proposition that why cannot an all religion structure be built there?
o These so called Pseudo secular channels will be happy to instigate violence in the country
o While the fight is between Hindu and Muslim groups – they want to join other religions also into this
o They are coining Masjid construction while no other Muslim organizations are yet talking about this.
o They should know how to behave on such sensitive issues – I do not think they will learn in their life time – they talk rubbish in the name of moderates
Anyhow – Muslim groups will go to SC in 3 months, it will take a year, then the final bench will take another year, then for Land sharing – new cases will be filed – it will take 2 to 3 years. So there is no surprise that in total it may take 5 to 10 years for final settlement.
As long as all the groups abide for this snail court processing and the final Judgment – no issues to any Indians.

AYODHYA

The controversy over Ayodhya never ends. 1) Whether there was a temple or not, 2) the case against Babri Demolition will run for decades further. The individuals involved may not live by the time the judgment comes like that of many such old cases of Sikh riots, Bofors, Bhopal Gas Tragedy.
There are speculations on the current Ayodhya judgment – on which side it will come? (Sort of betting game)
What happens if the Judges say – there was a Temple? Will there be riots again? Nation will pay price like that happened from 1992 onwards
What happens if they say – they could not find any reason to say that the temple is there or they are not competent enough? Will the country face again Bandhs and agitations – leading to forceful demolitions further, mid-night temple constructions?
Can the Judges have the capability to say that – the structure be declared as disputed forever – suggest for construction of an all religion symbolic structure peace dome?
The current Allahabad judges showed their incapability by rejecting the PIL – which just asked for deferring the judgment as the CWG is going to take place and asking for a 2 week shift.
Common man is not able to understand why the Judges not only dismissed it but put a hefty penalty on the petitioner.
How many silly PILs, cases we see in courts? The current petitioner has done this with a good intention to stop defaming of India before the world guests who will be there from this month end to mid of October.
The Courts took 60 year to arrive at the Judgment and why cannot they wait for 2 more weeks. Infact the Judges who showed unnecessary enthusiasm for delivering the Judgment on 24th Sep – should be penalized by Supreme Court, removed from the posts after this case. They do not deserve the protection being provided to them.
We know the courts incapability many a times in the past – specially when the PILs were filed against agitators (who sponsor frequent Bandhs like communists, Telangana separatists…) – but the courts always supported the agitators in the name that they have the right to express – but never came to the rescue of the common-man / middle class man who are always suffers because of these violence and riots.
Now also let us expect the same immaturity from the courts – but as matured citizens let us respect the Judgment, be ready for another 2 hearings at least in Supreme Court – one by partial and another with Full Bench – which can easily take another 120 years – minimum.

Ganesha Chavithi & Ramadan & 9/11 – on same single day on 11-Sep-2010

Ganesha Chavithi & Ramadan & 9/11 – on same single day on 11-Sep-2010
Together celebrated and remembered.
While Ganesha Puja considered as the Birth celebrations of Ganesha, Ramadan is celebrated as the dedication to the GOD and belief in strict discipline to the religion and 9/11 as fight against fundamentalist terrorism.
1. Ganesha Puja
Ganesha is considered as the GOD for preventing Vignas (Obstacles), one who supports the students for the education, who provides Budhi.
Ganesha celebrations started way back with 9 days of social celebrations in the colonies. This was basically initiated by Bala Gangadhara Tilak in Maharashtra during Independence war – to instigate unity among the different sections of Hindus, thus it spread across almost the whole nation now and became a major celebrations.
As long as these celebrations take place in peaceful manner – that is fine.
2. Ramadan
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Muslim calendar. The Month of Ramadan is also when it is believed the Holy Quran "was sent down from heaven, guidance unto men, a declaration of direction, and a means of Salvation".

During the Fast of Ramadan strict restraints are placed on the daily lives of Muslims. They are not allowed to eat or drink during the daylight hours. Smoking and sexual relations are also forbidden during fasting. At the end of the day the fast is broken with prayer and a meal called the iftar. In the evening following the iftar it is customary for Muslims to go out visiting family and friends. The fast is resumed the next morning.

According to the Holy Quran:

One may eat and drink at any time during the night "until you can plainly distinguish a white thread from a black thread by the daylight: then keep the fast until night"
The good that is acquired through the fast can be destroyed by five things -
1. The telling of a lie
2. Slander
3. Denouncing someone behind his back
4. A false oath
5. Greed or covetousness

These are considered offensive at all times, but are most offensive during the Fast of Ramadan.
Perhaps Muslims that too in the month of Ramadan show how a belief can be put into practice with strict determination – the same holiness should be carried forward entire the world, across the globe – then the peace will prevail automatically.

3. 9/11 Terrorism:

This is a known incident across the world. Almost a decade passed. The Al-Qaeda has spread an innovative way of terrorism and causing a panic across the world since then.

Thousands died. Twin towers destroyed. Pentagon was almost smashed. Whitehouse could have been attacked. Only places that were not targeted at that point of time were NASA, Hollywood…

Since then all neighboring countries of Muslim terrorist countries are paying price for the terrorists, spending lot of money for the security, living on knife edge.

The terrorist and rouge nations like Iraq, Afzanistan, Pakistan, Libiya… are supporting these Terrorist groups.

Also US paid on its own coin by cunningly supporting these groups which are not causing harm to them but causing harm to India, Russia etc. Even now also they are still supporting Pakistan and not heeding to India. It is no longer for US to face such attacks again. They need to be impartial.

Saffron Terrorism?

Our honorable Home Minister Shri Chidambaram has coined a new word “Saffron Terrorism” – to counter attack “Green Terrorism”.
Mr Chidambaram has been a major failure as Home minister – in the terrorism across the whole nation. Naxals menace across India, Terrorists across Kashmir, unable to close the Taj blasts case, Parliament attack terrorists –
To divert the attention he has brought this key phrase. What are his motives?
· To get sympathy from the pseudo secularists.
· To counter-attack his inefficiency of terrorism towards the other extreme side.
· To get minority votes.
· To take revenge on BJP, Shiv Sena – as they are strongly opposing and criticizing the government for its inefficiency of UPA in all fronts of law and peace order.
· The enemies in the border are creating problems – by encroaching the land and thus India being in danger.
· Divert the blame on innocent Hindu organizations.
Even the Congress is distanced itself officially to use the word – for this saffron word – but Chidambaram shamelessly again justifying his stance.
He is making a major blunder – he is creating wrong guidance, misleading the nation, criticizing the patriots as terrorists.
The same naxals, Terrorists will take revenge on him and he will pay his price for being incapable to maintain India’s law and order.
He should be sincere, take all parties into consideration and strive for the real unity of India, take stern action against terrorists. Otherwise Nation will not pardon him – soon we will have new HM.

India is celebrating 63rd Impedance day today

Wish you all a Happy 63rd Independence Day
India is celebrating 63rd Impedance day today

WE, the Indians, have moved over a long period since 15th Aug 1947. WE progressed in science and IT, education, political awareness, electronic and print media.
But can we say confidently that we really progressed in the rate ideally which we should have been done.
No.
So much terrorism, violence, separatism in the form of caste, religion and region. Politicians vested interests is the sole thing which is making the common man’s life miserable. These politicians are trying to divide the nation – thus lacking the progress and development.
The 7 diseases which are crippling India are:
1. Poverty making the BPL section struggling day by day. Prices rise day by day. They are not able to have a comfortable life without any assurance for the future.
2. The division of caste, religion and region. Politicians exploding this for their selfish reasons and wasting lot of nation’s time, money, wealth and health
3. The division between rural and urban areas development, thus forcing the rural people to move to urban areas, thus being unable to withstand and match city/town’s expenditures – being suffered for the poverty
4. The corruption raised to its peak at all levels and spoiling the whole nation like cancer.
5. The politicians misutilizing the power. Creating scams day by day – Bofors, Submarine, Illegal stamping, fodders, Swiss bank, Illegal Mines – thus looting people’s money and property.
6. Damaging the empowerment of the people – which is the basic principle of democracy. The common man suffers every day in different forms – facing the government officials, prices, unrest, law-and-order, polices, bribes….
7. People becoming slaves for vices such as liquor, smoking etc and thus spoiling the health and wealth of the nation.
Unless otherwise these 7 are arrested ON PRIORITY – India can not progress – the moment we solve these – we THE INDIANS become the automated No: 1 nation in the world.

TELANGANA NOT SO FAR?

Yes it looks like.
TRS winning 11 of the seats with thumping majority is a clear indication – how the sentiments are there for separate Telangana movement.
In all previous elections TRS has got declining votes. Whenever it vacated the seats and re-contested either it has lost few of its own seats or got reduced majority.
But this time they not only retained but have dumped all other parties aside. This will show the strength of KCR’s TRS at all levels.
BJP which has contested in one seat and defeated APCC congress president has rided the Telangana wave. Though Nizambad Urban has majority minority votes – still it could improve the votes slightly compared to the last time.
Communists, PRP, Loksatha wisely did not contest – knowing pretty well that they will not win any seat.
TDP has lost its base completely. It has lost deposit in all 12 seats and stood far behind even congress. It has started the elections with no strategy. Chandra Babu’s old tactics of delaying the decision making will no longer help. He has delayed the decision to contest elections. He could not decide whether to campaign or not. In last 2 weeks – he took Babli Yatra – thinking that it will help them. He did not have the courage to use it for election campaigning – thus now he has been exposed and left with o alternates.
Congress is the big loser. This defeat will increase the already groupism studded party. It has lost all seats. The so called Telangana senior leaders openly criticized the high command’s decision for contesting the elections. Many of them are celebrating that TRS has won the elections. These leaders first should be suspended if Jagan is also suspended. These senior leaders any how can not pull a single vote. Rosiah got rid of D Srinivas by way of ditching him in the elections.
But finally the common man of Telangana is going to have many agitations scheduled ahead for next 6 months. Many more bandhs, violence, suicide deaths, atrocities by the revolutionary TRS activities, congress anti-Jagan factionists and naxalites will rise to peak to utilize this opportunity. As long as Sonia delays the decisions and delays – it becomes much stronger and creates unrest in the state. The state’s development will be at stake – thus all the rest of the states will be happier that AP is fasting backwards and can be weaker day by day.

Interstate disputes

Of late we are seeing lot of disputes between states unnecessarily. Zero tolerance has become the day of the order.
Karnataka has dispute with 3 neighboring states. It has major state border dispute with Maharashtra over Belgaum area. MR claims it as its area and the MES (Maharashtra Ekikaran Samithi) – the loyal group of MR – wants Belgaum to be separated from Karnataka and merged with MR.
It has row with Tamil Nadu over Cauvery for decades together. Being a state in the upstream – always has quarrel with TN in releasing water to TN. The rich fertile Mandya/Mysore region farmers always do dharnas against this issue and force the government against releasing the water. It lead many a ties tension in Bangalore between Kannadigas and Tamilinas.
Almatti is another dispute between Karnataka and AP. Karnataka has raised the dam height by 0.6 m – saying it is negligible and the basement level at most of the places is infact submerged.
Andhra has state disputes. It has with Karnataka on Almatti. Ofcourse old issues with almost all states during states reorganizations during the formation of AP on the basis of language. Many Telugu speaking areas have been merged with other states wrongly – like Bellary with Karnataka, Nizam states in North Karnataka, Ganjam districts in Orissa.
Now new issue is with Maharashtra on Babli. MR government has become a dictator government by beating even former CM of Andhra – thus one can imagine what it would have done if common people enter into their state. Shiv Sena which waits for such issues is making its best of politics – thus creating big menace with AP on one side and with Karnataka in another side.
Even the central water board, the water minister have expressed its inability to resolve the issues. Instead they suggested that one should approach the SC for resolution of such cases. If so then what for the government is there? The Congress governments in AP, MR and at center clearly took revenge on Chandra Babu by harassing him to the possible extent – thus adding fuel to the fire of Interstate disputes.
Center/States/Public should consider this country as single nation and work to solve the issues amicably and maintain peace, law and order.

Karnataka Governor should be re-called or he should be forced to resign

H R Bharadwaj, the Governor of Karnataka is behaving like a true congress agent and spoiling the image of Karnataka. He openly is criticizing the Karnataka Government, forcing the ministers to resign. He is shamelessly saying – he is proud to be a congress person. Being a governor – he should be above the politics – but supporting directly the menace being created by Congress and JD-S in the assembly.
These two parties are wasting the publics’ time and money in the form of staging dharna in the well of the assembly.
Governor is keeping blind on other open issues like Deve Gowda’s land grabbing, his noise and public nuisance against the NICE corridor.
B S Yediyurappa’s government is incapable to take action against the Gali brothers. Thus the government is openly supporting the corruption charges – but at the same time they have scored a point as the Governor has exceeded the limits.
There is no wonder if the BJP does a similar dharna before Rashtrapathi bhavan, demanding dismissal or recall of Bharadwaj.
Bharadwaj should take clue from his counterpart of AP – who does proper reviews regularly, travels across AP, inspires and lives like a common man.
Also the Congress of Karnataka should see how their own party is behaving like an undemocratic party in AP. When TDP is protesting against the undemocratic killing of fishermen in Srikakulam district by police firing, the Congress government evicted the TDP members, conducted the assembly, explained and giving speeches supporting the police atrocities.
Sarkaria commission has already suggested and set guidelines for proper center state relation. Accordingly the state government should be consulted for Governor’s appointment – but it is not happening. These Governors are behaving like dogs of central government rather like watch dogs of constitution.
Some of the previous Governors in the Indira Gandhi era used to behave like the same spies of the central government and used to behave one sided.

Silver Jubilee of Bhopal Gas Tragedy

Even after 25 years of the tragedy – the ghost is haunting, the victims are suffering, no one is heeding to their woes. The politicians are busy blaming each other, environmentalists – to drive the point and to say that globalization is danger and to fight against it, media – happy to have some hot topic.
It happened in 1984, December, 4th midnight – at Bhopal – the gas leak that took place at Union Carbide – made 20,000 died and lakhs of people to be impacted with physical/mental disability.
During the past 25 years – many reports came, conflicting each other, safe-guarding one or the other.
· First to be blamed – Arjun Singh, Rajiv Gandhi and bureaucrats at that time. They have arrested Anderson – for name sake, treated him like a royal guest, and sent-off him with full state honors. They say that otherwise the public would have shown anger and would have killed him. The congress is using the same card against Afzal Guru’s execution – saying that the minorities will show anger if they execute Afzal. What sort of impotent and incompetent government – we have.
· On the other hand they are blaming and passing the buck on PV Narasimha Rao – who was no where connected.
· In congress rule nothing can happen (that too such major decision) without the knowledge of Gandhian head’s instructions. Be it Bofors, Submarine, Ayodhya.
· The other parties BJP and communists also behaved like mute-spectators and did not raise any alarm.
· BJP being in power for the last 10 years (in state) also did not do anything – they could have fought this case?
· The environmentalists – side tracking the case as a case of globalization issue rather taking a particular instance and addressing it.
· During 84 – we have only Dumb Darshan (sorry Door Darshan), which is the mouth horn / piece of Government – hence nothing came openly to the public. Now that media is very powerful they are fighting openly. But they need to take it a logical conclusion rather a daily time pass / hot topic for their viewership increase.
· Our PM Manmohan did not raise the issue of hand-over of Anderson to us with Obama, neither Pranab nor Krishna made it a strong point, they should have demanded huge compensation from US government otherwise. But instead – Pranab says that it may lead reduction in foreign investments and ultimately we may suffer.
· But Obama is sucking the blood of BP in the form of Billion dollars as compensation for the oil rig damage happened in Mexico region. This leak killed animals – but not human beings.
In nutshell - it is high time for the Indian Government to come out clean by
· Accepting the fault of Rajiv and Arjun
· By demanding Andersons’ hand-over
· By demanding compensation from US government.
· By apologizing to the Nation in general and to the victims in particular for the handling of the whole episode.

Bharath Bandh

Bandh against whom? Is it against Dr Manmohan? Against Sonia? Or UPA? Or Congress?
But it is against the common and middle man.
The price hike is really paining a lot the poor and middle class. The day-to-day hike of rice, dal, vegetables, milk, fuel – making the life of common man very tough. Leave alone the future – the present day itself is becoming a problem.
Rather to find a solution to stop this menace – the opposition is making a blind eye and deaf ear along with the ruling alliance to create more chaos and confusion.
All non-UPA constituents supporting the Bandh called on 5th July.
What is the logic they have?
BJP is ruling in many states. Is it not the responsibility of State Governments to control the prices of Milk, Vegetables at least at state level? If they cannot do then what night do they have to criticize the rates of central commodities.
The left is another big stock who does not have any clear-cut policies on economy. On one side they want subsidies on all commodities and expect no price hike on anything. They expect supporting price for farmers for crops and milk production – but do not tolerate for the hike.
The misc parties like TDP, JD-S, ADMK, and BJD – do not have any policies or suggestions to arrest this.
The Courts also became incompetent in controlling the Bandhs and strikes. The political parties should bear the corores of loss being incurred because of the bandh. They should
· Distribute the day-wage to the poor and daily workers for that day as they are missing.
· Pay compensation to the travelers who are going to miss any planned journey.
· Sow alternates for the students/un-employed.
· A penalty of huge crores of amount – so that in their life time again they can think of any such bandh.
The sufferers are always the poor man – as they miss their daily livelihood for that day.
All the private companies anyhow work as compensation and the capitalists will not miss or lose a single rupee of penalty.
There should be a law banning all sorts of such bandhs.
While we protest against the price hike – at the same time should protest against the Bandh also.

Odarpu Yatra

The politics of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Vs Congress is taking twists day by day.
He was supposed to go to Warangal in June as part of his “Odarpu” Yatra.
His own party men tried to desist saying that he cannot enter into Telangana.
TRS has said he has to say “Yes” to “Telangana” – then only will be allowed.
Are we in different countries or in same nation? The police also dispersed the crowd of Jagan’s supporters and allowed TRS supporters to vandalize in their own wish.
The Senior Congress elders in the name of Telangana are behaving like separatists – opposed him, opposing Polavaram with meaningless data, criticizing their own minister for irrigation – absence of strong leader as CM making all these issues. Even Sonia is becoming an incompetent - unable to control the elders. Rather she is trying to control Jagan as he is appearing a threat to her CM.
Now even after Jagan met Sonia to allow her for Srikakulam’s Yatra – where there is no issue of Telangana – Sonia is not permitting him. Then how come she allowed in EG dist and Khammam (Telangana) in the first round?
Only two ways left for Jagan
1) To be like obedient servant and follow high-command – so that slowly he get some support, power.
2) To become rebel – create confusion, try level best to wrest the power or lead to mid-term elections. If AP is divided – he may score a better chance to become the CM for Andhra.
The by-elections scheduled for Telangana for the 12 seats is a shame on democracy.
1) The TRS MLAs resigned and same gang contesting again. Who is responsible for the expenditure for now? The money should be paid by KCR.
2) Added to that they do not want others / parties to contest? What sort of democracy – are we in?
The fate of AP is dependent upon these by-elections – whether it is going come back as a strong developing state or going to be a dis-integrated backward state.

Caste based Census.

Is Caste based census needed or not?
If caste based reservations are continuing then yes – the census has to be based on the caste. Then only Government can allocate assess properly if the castes are being given proper quota. If the OBC/SC/ST Population is less than the quota percentage – then OK – else the quota needs to be increased accordingly.
The economically backward community should be given importance – the reservations should be given to them. Then only the real poor and neglected society develops – thus India develops.
The Yadav Trio (Lalu, Mulayam and Sharad) have only interest for age-old theories. They cannot see India progressing. They find the ways how to decelerate India’s modern growth.
These are the same parties who tried their level best to jeopardize the success of the woman reservation bill.
Congress which claimed as the messiah of women’s upliftment – is now keeping quite when they can introduce the women reservation bill in Parliament. That is the sorry state of affairs of our Indian Center
Even the BJP which is worried of the BC votes – now changed the tune and want caste based census.
Till the politicians have vested interests, vote bank politics – the caste system will not go away and India cannot develop.

Telugu Vari Charitra (Kree Pu 300 – Kree Sa 2010) - Verpatuvaadam

This is again a historic book written by Dr D Venkateswara Rao – complete history of Telugus from around 300 BC to 2010 AD. A summarized version for the quick reference of Telugus evolution, different rulers, cultures, geos, political ambitions, developments, separatist attitudes.
Who should read the book
· All Telugus MUST read so that they will know how their dynasties have been changed over centuries.
· One who wants to know the differences between Andhra and Telangana
· The atrocities of Nizam and Razakars.
· The development comparison between these two regions.
· The real intentions of Telangana separatists.
Dr Rao really brought out the tempo, made one to read within 3 hours and would have put lot of efforts and investigative mind.
Telugu is infact called as Tenugu – Telangana – Telivigiri – Trilinga Desam
The brief rulers of Telugus are as follows
1. Satavahanas – 221 BCs – supposed to be the first king is Simukha – capital is Pythan (where?). Towards this end Andhra has replaced Sanskrit as official language.
2. Ikshvakas – Nagarjuna at Vijayapuri capital – 250 AC to 650 AC

iii. Make women feel ashamed of themselves
iv. Make rich Hindus to do service to them.
v. Covert low caste Hindus to Muslim and involve them in the riots
e. Desmukhs – were the heads of paraganas (a set of 60 villages).
f. When Salarjang was appointed as PM by British to collect the revenues – the Deshmukh lost the importance. The hierarchy is as follows
i. Lords (Prabhus)
ii. Bhooswamys.
iii. Patel (representative of police) – any caste – Patwari (Revenue) – must be from Niyogi Brahmin)
iv. Peda Kapu, Asamis (Kapu community)
v. Caste discrimination utmost.
vi. Low cost has to say at the beginning and at the end of each sentence “Nee Banchan Dora” (Nee Banisanu dora ) - I am your slave. Nee Kalmoktha (I will touch your feet).
vii. No support for Telugu – only Urdu has the encouragement. No political awareness – late than Andhra.
viii. Nizam Andhra sabha formed in 1920s to awaken the public for the inferiority being meted to Telugu – a symbol to say that original Nizam rule is against Indian mentality and is pro Pakistani.
1. This has been later dominated by communists and became Praja Natyamandali
2. In 1946 it became very powerful as Nizam said he will not join India and want to become Independent Muslim nation.
3. Ramananda Thirtha has done agitation against this.
11. Nizam’s accession into India
a. When India became Independence – Nizam opposed to join the government – but was forced to agree on 27th Aug. But again back-tracked because of Razakars.

a. Andhra – B Gopala Reddy (CM), N Sanjeevareddy, G Lachanna (Ministers), A Satyanarayana Raju (Andhra Congress president)
b. Telangana – B Ramakrishna Rao (CM), K V Ranga Reddy, Channa Reddy (Ministers), J V Narasinga Rao (Hyderabad Congress President)
c. Following are agreement points
i. The administrative expenditures should be borne by the two regions in the ratio.
ii. The surplus revenue of Telangana should be spent in telangana for next 5 years and need to be reviewed after 5 years also.
iii. Telangana educational seats for them only or 1/3rd of total AP seats for them – they can chose whichever is beneficial.
iv. The existing employees should be allocated in the ratio and if needed Andhra employees need to be removed.
v. Further employment also should be done in the population ratio
vi. Urdu should continue as special language in administration and also Telugu should not be a mandatory language for appointment – but they should pass Telugu exam in 2 years.
vii. To get job in Telangana – one should be living at least for 12 years
viii. Agriculture lands selling in Telangana should be under the control of Regional commission.
ix. Separate Regional Development Telanagana commission should be formed.
x. In the above commission total 20 members should be there
xi. The above commission should be legalized and have the rights
xii. Cabinet posts should be in 60: 40 (Andhra : telangana)
xiii. CM and Dy CM should be reciprocated. 2 portfolios from the Home, Finance, Revenue, Planning, Commerce, Industries – must be for Telangana
xiv. Separate Congress committee for Telanagna till 1962
d. All these demands were agreed by Andhra leaders without any discussion in a hurry to form the united State
i. They did not consult other parties.
ii. Other leaders of their own
iii. Did not think of further consequences.
iv. Being secondary citizens in their own state.
e. The name of the state was planned as “Andhra-Telangana” - but as the name looks Hybrid and may provocative. They preferred Andhra Pradesh
i. 1st Nov 1956 – CM is Sanjeev Reddy, C M Trivedi – Governor.
f. Border Disputes
i. Andhra – Orissa
1. Parlakhemundi, Berhampur, Koraput – Andhra asked only Telugu Taluks – but the Language commission took this as the demand for the whole districts and said Telugus are only 15% and denied the regions to Andhra.
2. Reversely Orissa demanded for Srikakulam.
ii. Andhra-Karnataka
1. Kolar district has 51% Telugu – but still they retained in Mysore
2. Bellary again has majority Telugu and geo-wise just in Andhra – but still retained in Mysore
iii. Andhra-TN
1. Hosuru, Dharmapuri has lot of Telugu population – but geo-wise they are not adjacent to AP and hence could not be merged
g. Thus Andhra lost many genuine areas from Chennai to small towns like Hosur.
15. Till 1969 there were no issues and Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy, Damodaram Sanjeeviah and Kasu Brahma Nanda reddy only ruled the state – all ar from Andhra
16. Separate Telangana Movement - 1969
a. Courts have ruled out special protection of Telanganas saying 15 yrs must to get job in Telangana.
b. Mulki agitation seeds started again (Localities should get the job)
c. During the AP formation – many officers came from Kurnool.
i. They have got double promotions as they were disturbed from Madras to Kurnool to Hyderabad.
ii. Whereas the Telangana people remained as usual and were forced to juniors.
iii. Also they have shown laid back attitude and did not progress further.
d. Infact the ratio of jobs were protected to Telangana – but still they made mess of it.
e. Even Andhra rulers did not try to console or control.
f. 20-Jan-69 there was firing against students – that triggered unrest. Schools/colleges closed.
g. Employees started agitating against Andhra employees.
h. Prajasamithi (Headed by Channa Reddy and Mallikarjuna) spearheaded the agitation.
i. PM supported KBR and J Chokka Rao has been the DY CM.
j. Infact Telangana agitation was nullified , closed, prajasamithi was split.
k. KBR resigned in Sep 71
17. P V Narasimha Rao – 4th CM on 25-Sep-71
a. First Telangana CM
b. Land reforms, making Panchayath raj independent.
c. Brought Mulki rules and said final victory of Telangana, which agitated Andhra.
d. President rule in between 13th Jan 73 to 10th Dec 73 for 320 days (reason Andhra movement)
18. JAI ANDHRA
a. Andhra people slowly started realizing the loss they are incurring in the AP.
b. In the name of Mulki they did not get any Jobs in their own state capital of Hyderabad (the single most such a state in India).
c. They were being treated as 2nd grade citizens in their own state
d. PM said Mulki will be applicable up to 1977 in Hyderabad and up to 1980 in other Telangana agitating Andhra further.
e. They started agitation – 31-Dec-72 300+ died. Violence erupted. The only powerful leader Kakani Venkata Rathnam died on 25th Dec 72 and thus no leader was there for the agitation.
f. Then slowly courts gave controversial definitions
i. Mulki is not originally born ones. Those who came and settled !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ii. Mulki is not applicable for promotions, rotations, transfers.
19. Thus both Telangana and Andhra found that it is of no use of the agitations and wanted to compromise with the following agreement - 1972
a. Developing the backward regions, capital with the resources available.
b. Locals will be given importance for admission into educational institutions.
c. Locals will be given job postings exemptions are
i. NGOs , secretariat, other Government offices, Hyderabad Police.
ii. Local bodies – corresponding posts.
iii. Tahasildar, Jr Engineers, Civil engineers, surgeons
d. Administrative tribunal to sort out the issues of 3rd point and state govt has to obey its decision.
e. President of India empowered for the final decisions if any.
f. Hence Mulki rules will not be applicable any more
Thus this solved the problem of Andhras ill-treatment in their own state by the government rulers.
20. Comparison of Development of Telangana w.r.t Andhra and Rayalaseema since the formation of AP
a. Andhra has got additional 51,006 lac Hectares of irrigation, Telangana 50,639 lacs and Rayalaseema 19,013 lacs – thus T got almost equal to that of Andhra – while Rayalaseema was backward
b. Industries in T 7,19,258 and rest 6,37,447 – again T is far far above
c. Cement 80% from T (AP is 33.33%)
d. Pharmaceuticals – 80% T – (50% from AP)
e. IT – 90% from T
f. Studios (all in T)
g. Hotels (all in T)
h. International Airport in T only
i. Coastal
i. Only Vizag developed to a bit
ii. Other leading towns like Vijayawada, Guntur, Nellore which were very prominent before Independence became moderate towns with cloth business, medium hotels, small scale Industries and no where matching to Hyderabad.
j. Education
i. Schools - T – 42%
ii. Students – T -48%
k. Literacy
i. 1951-52 - T – 9.3%, A & R – 13.4%
ii. 2005-06 – 57% and 61.3%
l. Higher education Institutions
i. T – 877
ii. A & R – 848
m. Hospitals increased – 684% in A n R, T 569%, T excluding Hyderabad 711%
n. Electrification
i. 1956 - 68.2% villages in A n R, 8.3% in T
ii. 2004 – both 100%
o. After 1956 all 47 PSUs in Hyderabad and around of Telangana only
p. As per Mohanthy a research done on development.
i. By 1982-83 – A n R have been under-developed than Telangana.
ii. By 1994 it has become much wider.
iii. Highly Developed districts 3 in A, 2 in R, 5 in T
iv. Moderately – 2 in A 2 in T
v. Backward - 4 in A and 2 each in the 2 regions.
vi. The expenditure for Telangana under “Jala Yagnam” is double that of Andhra n Rayalaseema – though both of them have almost equal irrigation land.
21. AP should be 1 or 2 or 3
a. Out of the total 2200 years of known Telugu existence – Telugus were united for 500 years (250-300 during Sathavahana, 100 during Kakatheeya, Nizam (100 years). Rest 1700 – they are separated.
b. 150 years prior to 1956 – both were separated.
c. Like Telugu people were ill-treated by Tamilinas during 50s – Telanagana is being ill treated by settlers.
d. Except KBR and NTR all CMs are either from Rayalaseema or Telangana – but still Andhra has been developed culturally – if not financially.
e. The whole history if revisited again from the above pages – there were many instances where separate agitations have happened within Telangana and Rayalaseema
i. Mulki vs non-mulki
ii. Kannadigas, Marathis Vs Telugu
iii. Razakars vs Telangana
iv. Rayalaseema Vs Andhra (agreement level if not agitation level)
22. KCR –
a. Though he started with a selfish reason – but he was successful in maintaining the agitation live for 7 years which never happened in Telangana agitation history
b. But he was very awkward in his speeches , arrogance, culture – which made the agitation and himself as jokers.
c. He may not be serious in his language – but doing intentionally as fashion and also he knows there is no point asking Andhrites to go away from telangana
i. Hyderabad was developed only because of them.
ii. Even there are many Telanganites in US who are helping TRS – so no meaning for local vs non-local.
iii. In TN still 2 to 3 ministers are from Telugu community (the no: 2 Arcot Veeraswamy is Telugu and even Karunanidhi was originated from Andhra). For that matter the DMK establisher Periyar is a Telugu man. MDMK president Vigo is Telugu and whole Coimbatore Industries are in the hands of Telugus.
iv. In Karnataka – now in BJP govt – the full control is from Telugus (Gali brothers + Katta)
v. But knowing pretty well KCR created a feeling among Telanganites that by throwing Andhrites – they can get their land, jobs and property.
d. Cunningness of KCR made
i. Students lose their valuable lives and education.
ii. Congress foolishly supported Telangana by forming forum by YSR
iii. Supported TRS
iv. Made ministers.
v. Later TDP supported them
vi. Thus every time TRS was dying some one or the other helped them.
vii. At last when it reached a stage it cannot contest Hyderabad elections KCR resorted to fasting.
e. Hyderabad population
i. 22 -23 lacs Andhra, same Muslims, 20 lacs Telanganas, 10 to 12 lacs other states.
23. What is the loss now for Telangana?
a. IT industries stopped expanding
b. No new Industries as per CII
c. America warned its citizens to go to Hyderabad
d. IPL moved away from Hyderabad.
e. In an era where countries are uniting, geos are merging, mncs are combining – no meaning for separate state just based on political reasons to get more employment.
f. Public should be aware of the real issues.
g. Now is the agitation under the control of KCR/TRS/JAC/Students/Naxalites?
So better be united and develop together . If you are big you can demand more.

Voting is not only a right but also a Responsibility

The recently concluded BBMP (Bruhath Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike) elections witnessed a poor turnout of around 44 to 45%. Bengaluru being the most educated city – this is a shame on the city’s part. This has been the trend in the last Assembly and Loksabha elections also. The so-called IT capital is becoming in-different day-by day to the democratic systems and values. In the early decades of our Independence (up to 70s and 80s) – the poor and un-educated used to not vote because of various reasons such as 1. Not knowing the value of the vote. 2. Landlords – preventing the poor and peasants voting, with a fear that they may change the fate of their preferred candidates 3. Women not coming out of the houses. 4. Rigging by muscle power being the main force in terrifying the voters from going to booths (especially states like UP, Bihar…) 5. The process was simpler within a week, though there were questions on the powers of election commission. But in 90s and in the new century – educated developed a fashion not to vote very clearly. 1. Least bothered to register their vote themselves 2. They feel better to enjoy the holiday. 3. Feel shame to go and stand in the queue to vote for. 4. But these are the intellectuals who criticize for everything happening in the country, state and city – cursing the politicians. 5. They will not have any right to criticize the politicians any more. 6. The software professionals of Bengaluru will be ready to vote for US presidential elections but not for Indian elections. 7. The poor, villagers and uneducated are now turning out in a big number – may be to some extent the candidates are also focusing more on these segments rather on rich community. They are providing some freebies for these sections with a hope to grab their votes. 8. Over these 2 decades – the election commission became powerful, electronic voting came into existence, but the process became very lengthier – taking lot of cycle time. 9. While voting cannot be made a MUST – the government should make easy steps to ensure that all the citizens have registered easily for the voters list. 10. Also there could be a choice of “none of the above candidates” in the ballot to indicate how the voters are feeling about the contestants.

Note that Voting is not only a right but also a Responsibility

BRUHATH BENGALURU MAHANAGARA PALIKE ELECTIONS

All the 3 leading political parties BJP, Congress and JD(S) are contesting in the BBMP elections. Every one of them wants to test their luck. There are 195 wards and to get Mayoral seat one needs to muster 98 seats.
Every party is thinking that – the triangular contest will help them, the opposition votes will be divided and the rest of the two will suffer and.
The MPs are at central level and will not be reachable by common public, and MLAs are mini-MPs and are not very nearer to the public for day to day sufferings.
Hence the corporators are very much needed by the public to address the day-to-day issues.
What are the main issues of Bengaluru?
The population is now more than 6 million and it is increasing day by day. It is the 5th largest city in India. The abnormal population growth (mostly migrating from neighboring states) is the root cause for many of the problems for this true cosmopolitan metro city.
· Scarcity of water is a day-to-day affair for almost the entire city. Hardly 50% of the area is covered with Kaveri water connection. Remaining areas depend upon bore-well and other means.
o Even this Kaveri water is not available daily. It comes hardly thrice a week in winter and in summer it is even once in a week some times.
o While rich people can afford to buy – the middle class people suffer a lot and the poor have to walk a lot to fetch water.
o Water became a commercial commodity as per Government and became on affordable basis.
o This attitude should be changed. All the closed pipe connections at slums should be re-opened up and provided with water connection.
o Thus the most important focus for all the 195 corporators should be water.
§ Get Kaveri works completed in the incomplete and yet to be started areas.
§ Open up the water pipe connections in all areas – where they were closed earlier.
§ If needed increase the water costs according to the layout (income groups)
§ Charge more for the high consumption.
§ Ensure that the Water Trucks are completely eliminated.
§ Water is not a commodity and it is a right like air.
· Roads and pot holes: Bengaluru is very famous for the ugly roads, pot holes, and narrow and irregular pavements.
o The corporators should ensure that the encroachments are addressed on priority – specially the inner lanes.
o Many of the areas do not have lights glowing in late hours. These need to be addressed in 100% - in the absence of which there is a dangerous by accident and intentionally by the anti-social elements.
· Third point to be focused is - Traffic normalization. This is a never ending woe for Bengaluru. The fly-over’s completion is taking lot of time – in other metro cities the completion is being done relatively quickly.
o The traffic police also are not in a proactive mode – they are in reactive mode and fully corrupt.
o A regular vigil on the key traffic areas of each ward can make each corporator to plan and address the issues to evolve a strategy, work with RTO and solve the core problems.
o Strict traffic violation rules should be put in place especially for IT and BPO vehicles as they are the main root cause for the nuisance.
· Few other miscellaneous points to address
o Proper Good Government schools, with staff in all areas.
o Parks and Lakes development. Wherever those were abandoned – need to be rehabilitated.
o BMTC is improving a lot for the last couple of years, may be the best – continue the same and cover more new routes, increase frequency. That makes private traffic also reduced. Work with the Transport departments to take care of each ward’s requests.
o Conduct Janatha Darbars once a week.
· Last but not the least is - to be away from corruption and make Bengaluru corruption free not only by self-practice – but also enforcing in all the BBMP departments.

HOLD ON FOR THE REAL CELEBRATIONS FOR WOMEN RESERVATION.

Women Reservation bill was approved by Rajya Sabha on 9th March 2010. It was a historic moment. This bill is for 15 years. Who knows it can be forever as it is being existing for SC/STs, being added for new sections such as Minorities, OBCs, etc …
Like few under-privileged sections such as Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Backward Class/Minorities – the women are also not at par with Men in many areas.
There is little progress since Independence except for the last 2 decades. Few Urban areas have shown progress. WE see working women, having equal rights along with men. But otherwise the rural areas are still like in the age-old system only.
What is this reservation all about?
It reserves 33 and 1/3% of Parliament and State Assmebly seats for women.
AS per the new act – out of every 3 seats 1 seat will be reserved for women – thus out of 542 seats of Lok Sabha – 180 seats will be reserved for Women.
Out of 250 seats of Rajya Sabha – 83 seats will be reserved for women.
The 180 seats of Women will be equally distributed among the existing 3 categories like SC/ST/General seats.
That means one third of ST seats will be reserved for Women and rest (i.e. two – third) will be for men. So there will not be any impact for SC/ST categories.
But then why Yadav-Trio (Mulayam, Lalu and Sharad) is against these
1. Genuinely speaking it is difficult to get women within general category leave alone from SC/ST community to contest the elections – from these 3 parties. These parties base is OM (OBCs and Muslims) and always difficult to get women candidates.
2. Quota within Quota: In addition to the demand of asking the reservation for OMs in General category – the Trio wants to Quota within Women Quota as well – so as to consolidate their vote base.
3. The proposed rotation of seats reservation – also is a difficult one for them. With great difficulty if they find a woman candidate– in next general election – the seat will be no more reserved and they have to identify a new woman candidate at new constituency.
4. That’s why these parties are arguing that – let each party take its own decision to nominate one third women of their choice of seats rather being enforced by constitution.
But then Why Congress, BJP and Communists want the Reservations?
1. They sense that they can get more mileage by winning the hearts of 50% of the Voters.
2. They can get Woman candidate relatively easier than the above Trio.
3. The Quota within Quota will be a major disadvantage for them and hence are against tooth and nail. Because they do not have OM basis. This will be a major disadvantage to BJP, may be a neutral one for Communists and a bit advantage to Congress among these 3.
4. Infact the rotation is also a worrying factor for BJP and Communists as they are in opposition and do not have stability like Congress at present.
a. This rotation concept may be extended to the existing SC/ST seats also – as the same SC/ST families are ruling the constituencies for decades.
b. The rotation of constituencies can be applied to SC/ST Category. New Candidates can contest from new reserved seats. Already existing SC/ST MPs can contest from the same seat – even if it is converted to general – as they have the advantage of being the current MP. If they have done really good for the constituency – they can win again. Thus more number of SC/STs can be representing the Parliament and Assemblies.
General Public Questions For:
1. In some of the states women have reservations in Educational institutions
2. Women have reservations in Local Bodies already
3. Even Muslim countries (Pak, Bangladesh, Afghanistan) and in total 40 nations have reservations for women
4. If SC/ST reservations are Parliament has helped them to uplift – then why cannot these new reservations for women will uplift them?
General Public Questions Against :
1. Women do not have any reservations in Jobs till now - then what is the advantage of having in Parliament and Assemblies?
2. These women reservations will help only those families who are already ruling the nation as MPs - their wives, daughters , daughters-in-law and sisters will be substituted for these constituencies.
3. Let the Government first ensure that – women need not
a. Walk for miles for a pot of water
b. Suffer dowry deaths
c. Depend financially on men
d. fear to walk in mid-night in Indian streets.

e. run for medical assistance
Future Questions:
1. Will the Bill be passed by Loksabha? Or UPA wants to save the Government?
2. Congress has got great mileage now – will BJP can keep quite or want to spoil the whole movement in some form or the other?
3. Will the MUSCLE power of Yadav Trio with OM Vote bank idea – disrupt the proceedings?
4. There are two arguments that – no need of Assemblies approval or 50% of States approval is needed. Will this happen?
5. Identification of seats again an issue :
• Population –wise?
• Alphabet-wise?
• Lottery-wise?
6. What about Maternity Leave cases of women MPs? This also should be taken care like that in Government and private companies.
Political pundits, sociologists, political scientists, feminists and historians and almost everybody has said that if the bill becomes an act then it will be the biggest socio-political news since independence.
