Soundaryalahari

 Soundaryalahari

Pravachanam By Brahmasri Samavedam Shanmukha Sarma Garu

Adi Shankara has written Soundaryalahari which has 100 Slokas.

·         Once Shankara went to Kailasam. Siva has given 5 spatika lingas (Crystal) and Amma has given one holy book. Then Nandi obstructed. He took and gave back 5 lingas, but made the book into two halves, gave back one half to Shankara. He decided to write on his own the remaining half. The inner meaning is to look the lahari (wave) into two halves One having 41 slokas with (Mantra secrets, Yantra secrets, Tatva (Philosophy) secrets, Upasana Secrets, Yoga, Kundalini Secrets). Remaining 59 slokas rupa varnana. (Amma being praised from Sirassu (Head) to feet). First one is Ananda Lahari and the second one is Soundarya Lahari.  In first slokas - Chidananda Laharim, Paramahladalaharim - will come twice. Thus, Ananda is being expressed. In second set of slokas – Soundarya lahirim will come. Actually, no need to divide the slokas. Both together is Soundarya Lahiri only. Focus needed on first set.

·         Anandam (Happiness) is Soundaryam (Beauty). Not the other way. Indriya anandam is Jada anandam (Here Physical, Infact Jada means inertia). Anandam beyond Indriyas (senses) is Chidanandam. Anandam is Chaitanyam (Dynamism). Sarva Chaitanyarupini is Amma. Athma tatvam is Amma.

·         Amma’s name is Sundari. Since she is spread in tri lokas (Three worlds), tri kalas (Three Tenses) called as Tripura. Since this chaitanyam is spread in all these 3 lokas – called as Tripura Sundari. (Lalitha also same meaning).

·         Soundarya is beyond male and female. Lahari is pravaham (wave). Sou is beeja letter of Amma’s name. Pancha Dasi mantram has 3 parts. Each end has lahrim

·         5 Lingas 1) Kedar – Mukthi Lingam (Liberation) 2) Nepal – Neelakantha ksethram – Vara Lingam (Boon) 3) Sringeri – Bhoga Lingam (Prosperity) 4) Chidambaram – Moksha Lingam (Salvation) 5) Kanchi – Yoga Lingam.

·         Amma Soundaryam is 4 types 1) Sthula (Macro) 2) Sushma (Subtle – Micro) 3) Sushmatara (Next level of Micro) 4) Sushmasthama further miniature.

·         6 Doshas - Jayathe (Birth), Asthi (Existing), Viparinimithe (Change), Vardhathe (Growth), Ksheeyathe (Decaying), Nasyathe (Destroying). Amma is Anavadyangi. She does not have these 6 stages.

·         Tejomaya rupam is sthulam. Mantram is Sushma rupam.

·         Amma and Ayya have 1) Nama Saamyam – Siva Sivaa, Shankara Shaankari, Bhava Bhavani, Kameswara, Kameswari etc. 2) Rupa Saamyam – Trinayanam, Chandra Rekha. 3) Guna Saamyam – Divya Gunas, Trigunas, 4) Adhishtaana Saamyam- Aaaradhana saamyam. Lingam is– Ayya rupam + Amma. Sri Chakram is – Amma + Ayya. 5) Kruthya Saamyam – Pancha kruthyas. Thus, Samayachaaram with Pancha saamyam.

·         Sloka 1, 3 and 57 are daily slokas to be chanted. Sloka 15 as well can be chanted daily.

Soundaryalahari in Telugu

Soundaryalahari in English

1st Part Ananda Lahari

·         Sloka 1 to 6 Amma Mahima and Tatvam are covered.

Sloka 1:  Srishti, Sthiti, Laya, Tirodanam, Anugraham – called as Prabhavitham. (Creation, Maintenance, Destroying/Closure, Disappearance, Reappearance). Siva can do all these if Sakthi is there.

·         From Samkalpam (Determination) to Ichcha (desire) to kaamam (lust) to gnaanam (Knowledge) to Kriya (Activity). Ichcha sakthi, gnaana sakthi, kriya sakthi.

·         Paramathma decided with spandana (Feeling) – One me will become many. Thus, Ichcha generated. In this itself gnaana and kriya are there. Thus, Siva is Eeswara one who is with Ichcha sakthi. That Sakthi is Kamakshi. One who has that kamam is kameswara.

·         You cannot separate Sakthi from Paramathma. Hari, Hara, Virinchi etc., Gods told that without Amma Siva cannot do anything. If such great people are praising then what am I before them to You. There should not be any ahamkaaram (Proudness) in praying. You are Karma phala pradayeeni.

·         Unless otherwise previous births punya is there one cannot put Namaskara, prayer, chant stotra to Amma. But I am not sure if I have punya to chant your stotram. Please bless me to have that so that I can do. The last namam of Sri Lallitha Sahasra Naamam is the first here. śivaḥ śaktyā yuktō (శివః శక్త్యా యుక్తః).  Siva Chakram + Sri Chakram. Manasa (Mentally), Vacha (By Speech), Karmana (By activities) need to pray Amma.

·         Pranavam is the origin for Srishti. Even to this origin is Paravaak. From Pranavam 50 letters came. All mantras come from this. It is called as Mantra Aksharamala (A to Ha).  (16) – Sakthi rupa. Swarams. If added ‘m’ then becomes Aham. Siva rupa - Varnas. Generally, 34. Ka to Ksha.

Sloka 2:  Brahma is doing the Srishti (All 14 lokas) by taking the smallest dust particle from the feet of Amma. Mahathye Souri (Vishnu) bearing the Srishti with 1000 heads (means carrying entire lokas) – because it is Amma’s particle Siva is doing Samkshud Ayinam (mixing together by bringing all), destroyed Lokas, wearing that Bhasmam on His body, since it is Amma’s dhuli (dust). Amma creates Red colour dhuli (dust), which finally becomes Bhasmam by Siva. Thus, Amma gives Kumukuma and Ayya Vibhuthi in temples.

If there is no Creation how dhuli has come? It is to be looked as the pollen from Lotus as explained by Shankara. So, the dhuli is a sacred one.

Sloka 3: 1) Agnaanam = Avidya – not knowing athma. Vidya removes internal darkness like surya’s origin centre. Gnaanam = Chichakthi (By which we know the things). She is Gnaana swarupini and swayam prakasa. 2) Jadatvam (foolishness) – Amma provides Chaitanyam like Honey Current (Chidekarasarupini). She is Saradadevi rupam. I am existing (Sath), the feeling of existing (Chid).  Remove adjectives for I then you get Anandam – then Aham Brahmasmi. Sachidanandam. 3) Gunanika – Sequence. Chintamani – Whatever you think the same will be provided by Amma. She is Daridra naasini (Poverty remover) i.e., Lakshmi rupam. 4) Moksha pradayeeni (Salvation Provider). Narayana renovated earth (which has been hidden by Hiranyaksha) in the form of Yagna varaha murthy with his damshtra (Stem), similarly Amma is reforming the devotees who have been submerged in the samsara bandha (Family bondages)

There are 1) Suryamandalam in us i.e., Daharakasam. 2) Nadi mandalam i.e., Kundalini 3) Chidswarupini Chidekarasa rupini (Chithavrutha prachodini) Budhi 4) Chandra kala. – Sahasraaram.

Sloka 4:  All Gods have Abhaya and Varada. But Amma has Upper two hands – Pasam (Cord), Amkusam (Goad), Lower two hands Sugarcane Arrow, 5 flowers arrow. She does not show the Abhaya (Blessing) and Varada (Boon) as we need not go till Her hands, Her feet themselves sufficient for Abhaya and Varada. She will grant more than what you wish. She provides beyond desires. Desire is Kama. She is Saranyam (protector) for all lokas. She is like boat who helps crossing samsara difficulties (family problems).

Sloka 5: Here Narayana and Manmadaha being referred. She is Sowbhagya Janani. Sowbhagya vidya = Sri Vidya Upasana.

·         Narayana prayed You, became female and attracted Siva. If puram (body) is there then desire will be there. There are 3 purams – Sthula, Sushma, Karana.

·         Amma has 3 avatharas 1) Prakruthi 2) Jaganmohini 3) Chidagnikunda Janani – Sri Lalitha. Sivamohini is nothing but Jaganmohini. Vishnu prayed Amma and took her form to please Siva. Thus, Shakthi is Vishnu i.e., Vyapakam (Expanding). If angry form it is Kali, if pratapam (Power) it is Durga, if peaceful form it is Bhavani, if male form it is Narayana.

·         Manmadha also attracting 3 lokas because he is praying You. He even attracting munis (saints). He is so beautiful that Rati wants to drink him with her eyes.

·         It does not mean that the world will be under devotee control, the inner meaning is that one who prays Amma, will not be tempted by the worldly things.

Sloka 6:  With Kaamapi (Unexplainable krupa) Manmadha, who has been survived because of Kamakshi, with 5 flower arrows (Pancha tanmatrakas), sugarcane bow (Backbone/Manassu), having the thread as bees’ sequence (Nadi Mandalam), with Vasantha, Samantha (youthfulness) as friends (who are having short life of 2 months as seasons), with Chariot Malaya Marudadu (Breathing without having any body) - he could still able to win over the world. That is because of You only Amma. (Thus, with having little body parts because of Amma mercy we are having Jeeva chaitanyam).

·         Now onwards till 14th sloka Dhyana prakriya.

Sloka 7: Amma’s waist gold belt is making sound. Amma ornaments are Chaitanya swarupam, mantra swarupam. After Aaagna chakra Amma will show her darshana to jeevudu/devotee. She has Baby elephant like Vakshasthala (Chest). Thin waist. She has Ripen i.e., Full Moon Sarat Chandra – Prasanna Chandra Face. She is having four arms carrying weapons – Sugarcane bow, Flower arrows, Pasam, ankusam. Let that form of Amma appear before me.

·         Siva saktitvam – Praying together is called as Samayam – Samayachara tatpara.

·         Amma is Siva’s ahamkara (Pourusham - Proudness) swarupam. Siva is one decided to do Srishti with ichcha, Gnaana, Kriya sakthi. (For this he had Aham i.e., me i.e., Pourusham i.e., Amma i.e., Sakthi which helped Him to do). Thus, if we get rid of Aham and mix in Amma i.e., Aham Brahmasmi.

·         5 attachments with the world (through Manassu) Sabdha, Rupa, sparsa, Rasa, Gandha, - Sound, Appearance, Touch, Taste, Smell - these 5 are arrows. But Manassu which is responsible is bow. If we get things that are liking – it is Raagam (Like, Desire). This is Pasam Bandhan. Another thing is, what we did not get or we do not like is – Dwesham (Hate, Dislike). This is Ankusam. Keeps on hitting. These four (Raga, Dwesham, Pasam, ankusam) are because of me. If we feel that these are in Amma control then gets chaitanyam. This is tatvam.

Sloka 8: In the middle of Amrutha ocean, with full of kalpavrukshas, Manidweepam  is there– which is swayam prakasam while rest are dependent on it. Kadamba garden is there in the dweepam. In that Chintamani Gruha is there.  A table is there on which Siva is sitting, in His lap Amma is there. Only few can do dhyana of her. She is Chid+Ananda+Lahiri.

·         If devotee does sadhana on Rupa he gets Sarupya moksham. If he does sadhana on the Bhavana, he gets Salokhyam. If he does sadhana as if he is always near to Amma – it is Sameepyam. All these 3 are in every religion and vydhika practice. But in advaitham only you get Saaijyam moksham i.e., there is no difference between me and Amma. I am in Amma.

·         7th Sloka – Sarupyam, 8th Sloka explains – Salokyam, Sameepyam, and  Saaijyam.

·         Amrutha Ocean is – Permanent Anandam experience which is Anantham. Kalpavruksham – Provider of boons. Kadimi tree – capable of brining water from clouds. Similarly, Amma rains boons which are not wished for. Chintamani – grants any boon whatever we think.

·         Sivakaremanche – 4 legs – Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, Eeswara. On the cot – Sadasiva will be sitting. All 5 are only one Siva. Srishti, Stithi, Samhara, Tirodana, Anugraha. We also have all 5 – Gnana, karma Indriyas, Tanmatras.

Sloka 9: Mooladhara Chakram– Prithvi, Manipura Chakram – Nabhi (Navel Jalam, Swadhishtana – Fire, Anahatham – Vayu (Air), Visudham – Broo Madhya (middle of eye brows) Aakasam (Sky). Kulam – Sushumna path. People who reach sahasraaram also continue to live, but they are jeevanmukthas. These people make 72,000 nadis to shower in the sahasraaram – i.e., the stage of Ahambrahmosmi. Sivoham. Kailasaprapthi.

Sloka 10: Amrutha dhara flowing from Amma feet. Amma is making the entire Surya, Chandra, Agni mandala fresh along with our inner hrudayam as well by her flow. From there Kundalini again goes back to muladhara.  Agni, Surya, Chandra mandalam – our body contains from bottom to top.

Sloka 11: Sri Chakram – 9 Chakras (Siva – 4, Sakthi – 5).

·         1) Siva is ready to do Srishti – First phase – Samkalpam. Avyaktham. This is minute than seed.

·         2) Not either Avyaktham or Vyaktham - Hiranyagarbha Phase. Anda dasa.

·         3) Budhi (Samishti) Phase

·         4) Manassu Phase – Mano Dasa

·         The above 4 are before Srishti and does not have any form. These are Siva Chakras. The below 5 are Sakthi Chakras.

·         Panchatanmatrakas – Vyaktham - Sabdha, Rupa, sparsa, Rasa, Gandha, (Sound, Appearance, Touch, Taste, Smell)

·         Pancha Bhuthas – Prithvi (Earth), Water, Fire, Air (Vayuvu), Space (Aaksam)

·         Pancha Pranas – Prana (Heart - Life), Apana (Top to Anus - Downward breath, Pitham), Samana (Balancing Vayuvu - Navel), Udana (Upward Breath Throat – Vomitting, Vyana (All Joints – bending of limbs, sense of touch, Goose bumbps)

·         Pancha Gnaana Indriyas (Budhi Indriyas) – Eye, Ear, Nose, Tongue, Skin

·         Pancha Karma Indriyas – Mouth, Feet, Hands, Anus, Genitals.

Sloka 12: Many poets like Brahma etc could not compare Amma Soundaryam with anything as they could not find any such similar one. Because her Soundaryam is beyond Srishti. For those Devakanthas who want to see Her Soundaryam (which is available only for Siva) – Siva sameepyam is the only way. Hence, they are trying to get Siva Saeejyam, but that is difficult to get. Only those get the Sivoham can get that stage. It is indicating the pavitra (Sacred) qualities of Amma by indicating that Siva only knows Her tatvam. She only knows His tatvam. Hence Amma tatvam is beyond heavens.

Sloka 13: An aged, not good looking, not talkative – such a person got blessed by You. The young girls falling after him in hundred number, leaving their hair knots, opening the knots at chest, the waist knots also getting loosened. This is vasikaranam (Hypnosis). Here vasikaranam is to have control of the things. What you want – you should not be losing control for it, but you should have control on it

·         Another meaning – the description of the person is Yogi. Then Gradually Aagna chakra, Anahatha, mooladhara chakras will be passed through and grandhi vibhedhanams take place – Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra Grandhi vibhedhanams respectively in reverse order. Yoga sidhis will be after the Yogi. But yogis will not be under their control. – This is real yogi meaning

·         Another meaning is – Siva’s age unknown, does not talk attractive – but yogis, jeevis fall after Him. The reason is because Amma’s looks are on Him.

Sloka 14: Viswa Chakram (Whole Universe), Kala Chakram (Time), Jeeva Chakram (Our life) – all these 3 are being run by same Sakthi – Viswa Sakthi, Kala Sakthi, Chaitanya Sakthi. In Earth 56 rays (Mayukham / Kalas), Water 52 rays, Agni – 62, Air – 54, Sky – 72 are there.  To the above all Manassu/Budhi (Anthakaranam) is there with - 64 rays. These rays are coming from the feet of Amma. Amma’s feet are above these rays. Total of these Pancha bhuthas and Manassu is 360 Rays. All 3 chakras each has 360. Kalachakram also (all 6 seasons put together) has 360 days only.  Mooladharam (Prithvi) - 56, Manipura (Water) - 52, Swadhishtanam (Fire) - 62, Anahatham (Air) - 54, Visudham (Sky) – 72, Aaagna - 64 (Manassu)

·         Earth + Water = 56 + 52 = 108 - Agni Kalas

·         Fire + Air = 72 + 54 = 116 – Surya Kalas

·         Sky + Manassu = 72 + 64 = 136 – Chandra Kalas

·         Now onwards Murthy dhyanam. Slokas 15,16 and 17 relate for Saraswata prayogam. Saraswati krupa.

Sloka 15:  Once if we do namaskar to you, how can good words will not come to us? Your face is like white Sarath kala full moon day (Purity, no uncleanliness). Amma Jata jootam - Tresses (Siva swarupam) is like crown with Chandra Rekha with four hands 1) Varada 2) Abhaya 3) Spatika Aksha Mala (Crystal 4) Book. The essence of human being is speech. The speech should be like Madhu Honey (Repeatably should be attractive to listen), Ksheeram – Milk (Satvika), Draksha – Grape (Easily understandable). Devotees will be blessed with such speech

Sloka 16:  We pray you, who has Bala Surya kanthi, who is Red in colour. The great poets will be blessed with their Hrudaya with lotuses. They pray you in unexplainable red colour. From them the speech will come as full depth, with proudha (Mature) Srungara (Sobha) poetry.  Aruna Saraswati. She has 8 hands Upper 4 hands Pasam, Ankusam, Bow (Cherakuvilli), Arrows – Lower 4 Hands 1) Varada 2) Abhaya 3) Spatika Aksha Mala 4) Book. That is Kamakshi + Sarada.

Sloka 17: Poetry (Maha Kavyams) will come from mothers for speeches (Vaaks) – Vasinyadi and 24 Vagdevathas. Those who pray them will get that sweetness of tambulam (betel leaves) of Saraswati amma. Such blessed poetry will get permanent name in the world like Ramayana, Mahabharatha,

·         Here we are praying Mathruka varna rupini.  8 Vargas (Vasinyadis A to Aha, Ka varga,…). 8 Mantra Sakthis. 12 Yoginis – Vidya, Rechika (Breath-in), Mochika (Breath Out), Amrutha (Vaak Sweet), Deepika (Bright), Gnaana (Understandable), Apyayani (Sowmya – Leniency - softness), Vyapini (Spread), Medha (Kusalatha Talent), Vyomarupa (Space), Sidharupa (Should result), Lakshmi (Prosperity) Yogini rupini, four Pancha Tanmatraka akarshanas (minus Sabdha) – Thus total 24.

Sloka 20: This is Roga Harana Prakriya. Sira – the milk provider part of cow. In Srishti She provides cool light. From Amma Amrutha kirana dharas are flowing (nectar), whoever prays in their Hrudayam, becomes like Garuda like who smashes the poisonous snakes. The poisonous elements in the body gets removed (toxins). This is Gaarudi vidya. Even those who are suffering with fever if get the glimpses of these devotees (who have seen Amma) get rid of their problems. Sudha Dhara Sira – Sushumnanadi – Amrutha dhara – Chidekarasarupini.

Sloka 21: Parama Ahlada Lahari. Thatillekha (Merupu theega). Lalitha – sukumari (Delicate female).  Amma is in 7th Kamalam above the 6 Kamalas i.e., Maha Padma. Those who have Chitha sudhi (Mind stability) only can see Paramathma there. Up to Visudhi Chakra One Akasa, In between Broo (Eye brows) – Chith Akasa, above this is Chidakasam i.e., Daharakasam (Hrudayakasam).

Sloka 22:  Bhavani, I thought of asking you for giving me mercy, but the moment I am starting praying – you are providing moksham. Thus, if we become Dasoham (surrender), it becomes Saeejyam. Those who chant Bhavani thrice (with trikarana sudhi) will have no sokam (sorrow), moham (attractions), Bheeti (Fear), paapam (sins). In fact, it should be done unlimited with Udaaram (Freely), Anandam (Happily), love.

·         Bhavudu (existing i.e., asthi), Queen – Bhavani. She is also the same – existing mother. The moksham being provided by Her is above than that of Trimurthis as they also pray Her and I am receiving their prayers as I am there in Her when the moksham has happened. This is Bhavanitvam.

·         Bhavani – I am you – Aham Brahma asmi – Ta t vam asi. Here tvam is Brahma. Asmi is Bhavani. If you do with Dasoham Amma will give Soham i.e., Saha+Aham. That means I am the Parabrahma feeling.

Sloka 23: Here 3 characteristics are being shown 1) Siva Skthykya rupam 2) Pativratha (Chaste) qualities 3) Samayacharam (any given chance linking Siva and Sakthi). She stole Siva’s left half. But looks like She has stolen entire full body. The reason is Her entire body is looking Red rather Red and white. She has half-moon, 3 eyes of Siva – but at the same time to indicate Amma appearance Chest (Kamakshi) is example. Thus, Amma is fully occupying Siva. Thus, Siva and Sakthi not separable.

·         Sloka 24 to 29 showing the supremacy of Amma over all other Gods.

Sloka 24: Brahma, Hari, Rudra, Eesa, Sadasiva (Srishti, Stithi, Samhara, Tirodana (Disappearing in relation to Samhara of srishti), Anugraha (Reappearing in relation to disappearing of Srishti) – are doing by the eye signal of Amma. Maya is Thirodanam. Those who go beyond this and understand, are blessed of Amma and get Moksham i.e Daya i.e, Anugraham (Removal of Paasam).

Sloka 25:  Amma, if we pray Your feet, we need not pray Tridevas. The Trigunas are generated from there. She is mula Prakruthi (Sama stithi – like seed) before Trigunas. The trimurthis are sitting at your feet, with folded hands and praying Your feet.

Sloka 26: In Pralaya kala Parameswara does samharam (Destruction) Brahma dies Vishnu takes rest, Keenaso (Yama) gets Nasa - destroyed, Danado (Kubera) gets death, Indra groups gets destroyed – You and Your husband only will be there and touring. This is Suvasini parayanam.

Sloka 27: This slokam is chanted as Saparya slokam after Srividya. Japam is my Jalpam, (Speech), whatever I do with my hands is mudras, my walk is Pradakshina, my food (eating) is nyvedyam - Prasadam, my sleep (rolling) is sashtangam, thus my all activities be the puja for You. if we do all these with Athmarpana then true puja.  That means make your life in such a way that you do your life entirely as a puja.

Sloka 28: Gods have taken Amrutham (Which removes Diseases, decay and death). But during Pralayam – they will get vanish along with Brahma and Indra, but Your Pati who drank kshwelam (Concentrated Poison) alive and safe. The greatness is because of Your Ear Kammas – Thatankas (Ear Rings / ornaments. Actually, this plus Mangala sutras, Mattelu (Toe anklets), Bangles, Turmeric & Kumkum – these 5 are Sumangali symbols.) – The reason for highlighting Thatankas – they represent - Sunrise and Moonrise, thus She controls them and hence Her husband will not be controlled by Time. She is above Kalachakra (Timelines). She is Sarva Deva Pujya (Being prayed by all Gods), Sarva Devadhikuralu, Appointing of all Gods, Sasvathuralu (Permanent)

Sloka 29:  Amma is in Manidweepam and going to receive Ayya at the door, while She is going Her assistants cautioning Her to be careful so that the crowns of Brahma and Vishnu may hurt Her soft legs. Amma starts from muladhara and goes as Maha Asakthi to mix in sahasraaram. Brahma, Vishnu Grandhi vibhedhini takes place in Sushumnanaadi. Patibhakthi clubbed in Kundalini

·         Now onwards Sri Chakram and Sri Vidya. Mantra Rupam being explained.

Sloka 30: Those Gods who formed from Your body are praying from all directions. You are permanent. I am Feeling that, there is no difference between me and You. Those who feel like this will throw away the Siva (Trinayanam) aiswryam also. It is called Tadapya Upasana. Whatever Amma gets as Neerajanas the jeevi also gets, that is true moksham.

Sloka 31: Before Sri Vidya there are 64 Tantras. These fulfil only loukika (worldly) desires. That’s why they are deceiving ones. There are other Vidyas, which are providers of Moksha also, but they do not provide worldly desires. But Amma is Dayamayee. Hence wanted to provide beyond worldly desires, along with Moksham. Sri Vidya provides all four ardhas. She ensured Siva provides such Sri Vidya. Bhukthi (Food) and Mukthi (Salvation). Here also Tantram is there, the process and procedure how to reach Amma. But it is not like that of 64. This is like Veda.

Sloka 33:  This is related to Kaadi Vidya mantras Mahabhoga Rasikas will do Chintamani Akshamala – then they do ahuthi (homa fire) with pure cow ghee. Here Vidya focuses on Chinthana on Akshara, Bhavana, Gnaanam, Akshamala with Indriya Nigraham.

Sloka 34: Amma you are body of Sambhu (Subhams). Your chest is Moon and Sun. Lalitha Viswa Vigraha. Viradrupa, Sun and Moon will be there at Chest (feeding the universe), Eyes (Seeing the universe), Ears (witnesses to Amma about us). For eye head is Sun and for Manassu head is Moon. If Siva is Athma you are Body, the vice-versa. Navathmaka Siva – 1) Avyaktha, 2) Vithana (Beeja) Vyaktha-Avyaktha – Hiranyagarbha – Mahath, 3) Budhi 4) Mano – All 4 Siva Chakrams, Amma Chakras are Pancha Panchas,

·         Hence, we cannot say who is great. Seshah (Unimportant – body parts) Seshi (Important – person having body parts). Srishti, Stithi time – Amma takes lead, Ayya supports. Laya, Ayya leads and Amma supports. Tirodana, Anugraha – Both are important. Saamarasya Parayana.

·         Another meaning - Paramathma will be with Nava vyuha (System) – 1) Kala (Eye lid closing time to Kashta) 2) Kula – Varnas, Colours, spices, characteristics 3) Naama - Race, within that 4) Gnaana (knowing the things through Budhi, Indriyas) 5) Chitha (Mano, Budhi Ahamkaram) 6) Naada (Sound coming from us Para, Paschyanthi, Madhyama.). 7) Bindu (Chakras) 8) Kala (50 letters – basis for sound) 9) Jeeva (Group of Jeevis). He is able to do because of Sakthi (Bhaghavati).

·         The Anandam which is Swayam janitham (Self-generated), no decay, permanent – Para Anandam

·         Slokas 35 to 41 are related to Yogas and Chakras.

Sloka 35: Amma you are Manassu. You are in the entire nature. Whole world is in 6 types. 1) Manassu (Chandra) includes Budhi (Sun) and Ahamkaram (Kshetragna). 2) Aaksam Space 3) Vayuvu Air 4) Agni Fire 5) Jalam Water 6) Prithvi Earth. With all these 6 forms You are Viswa rupa. But your original form is Chidananda akaram. You are Siva Yuvathi (Jagadheeswari).

·         Another meaning is You are there in all Chakras. You are in Manassu (Samkalpa/Vikalpa), in Budhi (Nischaya time), Me (Ahamkaram) – Thus You are 3 + 5 (Pancha…) = 8. Ashta murthy swarupam.

Sloka 36: At Aagna Chakram – Parachith Goddess. Para Sambhu God. He will be shining with crores of Sun and moon. Those who do dhyana here will reach beyond Sun and Moon, reach to Jyotirmayee bhuvana rupam. This stage Represents Manassu

Sloka 37: Here both are Sudha Spatika rupam. Vyomeswara (God), Vyomeswari (Goddess). They will be shining with moon light.  Dhyanam at Visuda Chakram. People get rid of internal agnaanam. Like Chakoram. This stage Represents Aakasam

Sloka 38: Do dhyanam at Anahatha Chakram. God and Goddess are Two swans. 18 vidyas came from these swans talking to each other. Hrudaya Kamalam. This stage Represents Vayu.

Sloka 39: God Samardhudu, Goddess Samaya Devi – Do dhyanam at Swadhishtana Chakram. Siva burns all Trilokas – Amma makes Him peaceful. This stage Represents Fire.

Sloka 40: Amma is like Lightening, became Rainbow – Siva is Megha. Siva is Amrutha natha, Amma is Amruthamba. Do dhyanam at Manipura Chakra. This stage Represents Water

Sloka 41: Do dhyanam at Muladhara. If there are no parents such House is useless, similarly without you – cannot imagine Jagath. Goddess Samayamba – God Maha Nateswara. This stage Represents Prithvi.

2nd Part Soundarya Lahari

Sloka 42: Male Gods should be prayed from Bottom to Top and Female Goddess should be from Top to Bottom. That too Amma has come from Chidagni, first appearing with Crown.
