Pseudo-support for Pro-Pakistani feeling and open support for internal separatism – That is the day of order for today’s Government and society

Balsaheb Thakarey has started head-on-collision with each and every one; whom-ever he thinks are supporting Pakistan or Pakistanis.
The recent fight he has taken up with Sharukh Khan in the context of the movie My Name Is Khan (MNIK) has been well opposed by Media, Government, public to a greater extent. All of us are very happy that MNIK is released successfully and running in full house. Sharukh has praised the fans as real Heroes. Note the point that MNIK was a big success in Pakistan as well with packed houses – since Pakistanis found a messiah in the form of Sharukh.
So while someone in India is opposing Pakistanis – we put some guidelines and restrict to that hate – saying – you should not cross certain boundaries. In this case Thakerey crossed limits raising a point that Sharukh was supporting Pakistani cricketers – while the Pakistan as a nation sabotaging us.
What about the fate of the so called Tollywood in its own state?
There were 4 shootings attacked by Telangana rioters. The movies of Vishnu, Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu, Gopi Chand were attacked and disturbed. Crores of rupees were incurred as loss by the Producers.
The movies of Allu Arjun, Vishnu, Ram charan, Jr NTR were stopped.
What madness are we in?
If it is a crime to stop MNIK – is it not a crime by Telangana rioters’ to stop the Telugu movies.
MNIK has been opposed on patriotism ground – but everyone supported MNIK - CM, ministers - heavy police escorts was provided.
Does anyone looking into the Tollywood pains and sufferings in its own home land?
· Whether our pseudo secular UPA is worried for protection of Tollywood – they will provide protection only if someone fights for Pakistani inclusion in sports at the cost of our security.
· The so called patriotic BJP is more worried for highlighting external threats, they are least bothered for internal threats – infact they enjoy divide and separatism.
· The equal opportunistic Communists – who always look for negative thoughts – for them films are “Capitalist Games”.
· The sole authoritarian of Telugu Pride TDP – who absolutely flattered in the whole Telangana episode – is not able to decide how to react.
· For Media this issue is not at all genuine one – but MNIK issue is a nationalistic issue – National channels like NDTV, CNN-IBN, Times-Now made hue and cry for MNIK – they are least bothered to highlight the Terror in Telangana. Why to blame national channels – when the own regional channels are afraid to raise these issues (including ETV, Teja, Sakshi…)
No one is supporting for the free shooting, releasing of the Telugu movies in Telangana.
In Telanagana – Police left it to the rioters –they are allowing the students in OU, KU to do whatever they want, enter into streets damage the routine life. Both the university areas are looking like War zones or some border areas. .
Politicians like DS Srinivas warn Chiranjeevi and questions “What damage has been done to film Industry now?” – As if he is expecting for more damages to be done.
All Telangana agitators KCR, Kodandaram Reddy, Congress leaders are threatening to boycott and burn the films.
As long as this partiality exists like this – the Nation will not prosperous. Treat all regions equally with the same respect. Protect all the sections of people – do not have bias. Otherwise the hatred can spread in any form against any one at any time – that time it will be difficult to control.

The So-called HEROEs

Some aged people say “In our younger days – people used to be happy seeing students here and there whenever some wrong things happening – with a hope that they will fight for justice and argue with the other side’s”.
Now every-one’s opinion is the other way. Wherever, whenever wrong things are happening – students are being involved.
The politicians are praising them for everything and saying “You are the Gods, without you the society cannot run – you need to save the country?” Thus instigating violence and waste of valuable time among the students. This is making students to raise their collars and think that they are the Heroes.
By taking clue from Prafulla Mahntha a Student union leader of Assam agitation – every Student union leader now wants to follow the same footsteps and want to become a great politician. They also should know what the fate of Mahantha is now and how has he became corrupted and lost his charisma completely.
If you see across India – it has become fashion that students are participating in all sorts of agitations even if they are irrelevant. There were agitations done by students against reservations – this could be understood as it impacts them directly. But other agitations like State Borders related, political parties associated, attending politicians meetings (like colleges encouraging students attending Rahul’s discussions/meetings openly in the campuses) …. are just time waste, spoils even the good students.
A great Yogi preaches the following to the students. Though the preaching was way behind many decades – but still applies and relevant to the current generation of students.
1. Note that Studies are the number one goals while you are a student.
2. Rest of the activities are secondary – if you cannot excel in studies – no point in involving in sundry activities and wasting time.
3. Politics are not meant for you – they are meant for elders.
a. Let the elders decide as they have experience.
b. When you become elder – you can decide what is needed for the nation, society.
4. Do not get carried away by the politicians saying that the society is in the hands of the students.
a. They use you as pawns and dump you later after achieving their selfish goals.
b. Many suicidal deaths in any agitations are from student community and not from party volunteers or leaders – why for the sake of selfish politicians you should die and make your family cry.
c. People like Rahul invite you to join the politics in the student stage itself– but note that his past 4 generations are no.1 ranked in politics and he is assured of the PM post – but same is not the case with you. For you – you cannot get living out of politics.
5. Note that you do not have right to stop the earning of the poor and middle class families (ofcourse even that of the rich) – in the name of Rastha roko, human chains, shutdowns.
6. The so called politically affiliated student unions like NSUI, SFI, ABVP… are nothing but the party extensions and note their hidden agendas and how they change according to the Government in the power.
7. Politics can be a profession like any other (Engg/Medical…) – but that also needs proper education of politics/economics/law – not just agitations/strikes/burnings
8. Parents will be blamed equally for seeing such students on roads and causing damage to the public property like Buses, Trains and even to the private buildings, shops.
9. Note that the criminal charges which will be filed can haunt you till your retirement any time while joining in any further higher education, jobs or travelling to other countries.
10. Read your core subjects to deep, gain knowledge, excel, explore, master, be thorough and try new things and bring laurels to India, the society and Family – That is the only goal – Then only you become REAL HERO.

Review of THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TRUTH (Oka Charithra Konni Nijalu)

This is review on the book titled “THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TRUTH” written by Dr Daggubati Venkateswara Rao, the Son-in-law of Late NTR and husband of Central Minister of State D Purandhareswari. While the original Telugu version is written by Dr Rao, the English version was translated by his wife.

Who should read? 1) Who likes politics 2) Who are closely associated with TDP’s era 3) Fans of NTR 4) Critics of Chandra Babu Naidu

The Book narrates the evolution of TDP since its inception to till today – basically highlighting the glory of NTR, criticizing Chandra Babu Naidu and justifying for him and his wife’s entry to Congress.

I read the English version and then glanced Telugu version. Both are almost same except few of the last one or two pages.

For almost many a years – this book made me to read at a stretch – not because the writing is nice – but because it is the history with which our era has grown and it is very nearer to our heart.

The salient features are
· The Book details in a chronological order the events occurred between 1982 till 2009 in AP politics, with small reference to National level and significantly focusing on TDP. By the time the book was released, YSR came into power 2nd time and he was not yet dead.
· Tries to bring out the greatness of NTR – but I feel Dr Rao has failed a lot in this aspect. Being the family member and also a close associate of TDP – he could have done much more better work. No where in the book – he goes deep into the subject and tries to analyze NTR’s feelings, opinions, and reactions (mental and Physical).
o He could have much elaborated how he has behaved when Bhaskar Rao thrown him out un-democratically
o How he has reacted during his wife’s death
o How has he come to terms when he lost the 1989 elections?
o How he has been stubborn – when his immediate family, the party leaders and the public is criticizing against his marriage with Lakshmi Parvathy.
o The most important one is – how he has swallowed (or kept on swallowing till his death) – the humiliation meted to him by his own sons, sons-in-law (including Dr Rao himself). This he could have gathered from his wife, who he says, daily used to go to NTR’s house even though rest has boycotted him.
o Over all the book looks like written in a hurry and released in further more hurry.

· Overboarding of criticism on Chandra Babu. Very repeatedly he mentions that Babu is Corrupt, opportunistic, power-monger. At times it gets irritated.
o While Babu’s opportunitism is very clear and he should be condemned – Dr Rao and his wife also shown the same and joined Congress the party against which NTR has fought all along his life. If they cannot work with TDP – it does not mean that they have to join Congress. While Dr Rao has to some extent some compulsions to join congress - for his political existence – what is the need for Mrs Rao to enter the Politics on Congress platform?
o Chandra Babu, NTR’s sons – do not have any right to put NTR’s photo and beg for votes as they have dethroned him mercilessly – like Mughal Rulers they fought against NTR.
o Whether Dr Rao agrees or not Babu is seen as a perfect organizer of the party and he has gone to the depth of the village level and knows each and every one. That was his asset – which made him to win back 1999 elections even though he has the tag of “Back stabber”, not a charismatic leader.

· One more overboarding – Mr Rao goes and criticizes the entire rule of Mr Babu.
o One point he rightly brings out is that he has not done a great thing significantly different to any other state in IT growth. The reason being – when he took over as CM – AP was in 4th place in IT exports and when he relinquished the post the rank remains the same. The reason is all states have grown in the same pace.
o But he accepts that he made great publicity to Hyderabad by bringing both Bills (Clinton and Gates) to AP. (Ofcourse now it has gone back to 30 years back, Thanks to Telangana separatists and Congress’s incompetent leaders).
o But Dr Rao does not give Credit to Babu for any of the schemes he has implemented, which lead to strong Financial reserves, which Dr YSR has successfully used to implement popular schemes and get public support and win-over 2nd term without any State ex-chequer in troubles.

· The notorious (may be the most) is Lakshmi Parvathy – how cunningly she entered into NTR’s life.
o She has living husband.
o She started associating with NTR saying she wanted to write the biography of him.
o With a plan to snatch the property she planned to start loving him and married him with a great opposition from his family.
o At the age of 70+ NTR also shamelessly married a wicked woman – thus spoiling his whole political career and finally his own life.
o To project her importance and NTR’s dependence on her – she openly feeded with her hands in a big function in New Delhi and Delhi media is written that NTR is paralyzed and he cannot function on his own (like MGR of the last days).
o Also she has given steroids to NTR thus making his heart weak.
o When he dead – she snatched the whole money, gold, silver and property and no one know even now where all those money.

In nutshell it is very simple, written in lucid language, interesting and readable. At the end show sympathy for NTR for his fateful death and curse characters like his sons, Babu and Lakshmi Parvathy.

United Andhra Vs Telangana

Andhra Pradesh is in troubled waters for the last 45 days and we do not know how long it will continue this?. The Telangana mania is reaching to more and more sections, districts, villages across Telangana. It is becoming more an emotion, fashion rather real need or intention.

If you closely analyze the reasons for the Telangana agitation the following true colors will be coming out.

The political unemployment of some politicians like KCR, Jana Reddy, Madhu Yashki is the main reason. KCR was thrown out of Chandra Babu’s TDP government in 2001 and then he formed the TRS for political survival. From them he has been an open militant. Neither Congress nor TDP, neither police nor courts could control him. He was using all abusive languages against all who have opposed Telangana formation. He gives the slogan “Andhrawala Bagho” continuously and every time. He has criticized Sonia Gandhi and other congress leaders alike with Chandra Babu Naidu.

Jana Reddy and co were not given minister posts in the 2nd term government formation by YSR, when he was re-elected. Thus these Congress leaders became jobless and unemployed. Madhu Yashki who proclaims as the self-styled close-aid of Sonia did not get the ministership at center and again one more unemployed politician. Thus these politicians have taken up this agitation as part time job along with permanent job-less leaders like TDP, BJP and CPI who cannot and will not get any job in AP in their life time.

Another major reason is the vested interest of some of non-AP leaders who are encouraging and interested very much in AP’s dis-integration so that they can be more powerful.

AP is now 4th largest MP sending state with 42. Even then the number of central ministers and the important portfolios AP get always far less than the rest of any other Indian state. TN and Karnataka have more number. of ministers even through their representation from UPA is smaller. If AP is divided further – there is no way of these new two states getting any posts in central cabinet.

The Telangana agitators are becoming violent and causing damage to the law and order.

Every other day there is a bandh. Threatening Andhra settlers to move away and saying they should not come back after Pongal. Threatening that movies will not be allowed (they damaged sets of worth crores of rupees). Asking Andhra educational institutions also to participate in the agitation.

Why the so called professors Jaya Shankar, Kodandaram be involved in the agitation? Why the students should enter into streets? Only those students who do not have any faith of getting any job after completing the degree are entering into the agitation thus spoiling the career of the most other majority students. The parents should give an ultimate warning to their own children not to enter into this agitation.

What happens if the states are divided?

Telangana detoriates further with Naxalites problem increasing. Political instability (Cong, TDP, TRS, BJP, MIM, Communists.) as too many parties and no one will get full majority. Industries will move away from Hyderabad. Poverty increases.

While Andhra can slowly progress without naxalite menace. Vizag can grow as an alternate to Hyderabad as IT and Industry hub. Vijayawada, Guntur, Kurnool, Tirupathi, Nellore can become more commercial. Real estate, landlords need not waste their money in Telangana. They can sell at Hyderabad and invest over in Andhra.

Hence the choice is within the Telanganites – if they want to progress further with the help of Andhra as was done for the last 50+ years or want to go back to 50 years like what is happening in Jharkhand and ChattisGarh

They need to know that they became progressed at the cost of Andhra’s money and not with their own money.
